  • A genuinely Japanese spot near Vondelpark, with a lovely selection of Japanese dishes and treats.

  • The matcha arrived properly hot, with a beautifully smooth texture and soy milk. Exactly the kind of preparation I appreciate.

  • Very friendly, attentive service that made the whole experience even better.

Didn’t Love

  • The matcha was lighter than I expected from a Japanese spot. Personally, I prefer the strength of Taigu in De Pijp, but this is more a matter of taste than a real downside. The gentler flavor might actually suit those newer to matcha.
