Great coffee reputation, but the matcha did not follow

The woman at the counter was lovely and genuinely tried to accommodate my request for a stronger matcha.
I asked for something closer to the 4-5 grams I usually make at home, so I appreciated that she was willing to adjust it.
Didn’t Love
The color was very muted, which already made me slightly cautious, and unfortunately the taste and texture did not change my mind.
It also arrived warm rather than properly hot. That alone would not have been a dealbreaker, but combined with the muted flavor and texture, the cup just did not work for me.
I had probably set my expectations high because of the cafe’s coffee reputation, but I would not come back specifically for the matcha.
